Our client, a prominent player in the industrial manufacturing sector, is seeking a Construction Manager to join their team. As a Construction Manager, you will be part of the Project Management Department supporting the Jefferson Expansion Project. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Construction Manager

Location: Jefferson, WI

Pay Range: $68 - $72/ hr.

What’s the Job?

  • Oversee all site construction activities for CapEx projects, ensuring high-level communication with engineering and plant staff regarding construction and safety activities.

  • Manage financial, safety, and schedule Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and address any deviations or propose alternatives.

  • Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver technical and non-technical solutions for construction issues.

  • Prepare, coordinate, and review process equipment and building drawing packages, and manage resources involved in pre-design, construction, and engineering.

  • Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean and orderly work site, with direct accountability for project execution, inspection, and quality acceptance.

What’s Needed?

  • 15 years of construction management experience on multi-million dollar CapEx projects in the food and/or industrial manufacturing industry.

  • Experience in at least two of the following types of projects: Civil, Structural, Architectural.

  • PMP, PMI, GAC, CCM, CMCI, CMAA or similar certification.

  • OSHA 30, CPR, and Fall Protection certifications.

  • Proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Cx Alloy, and others.

  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs, and handle extensive walking through a construction site.
