Tradeweb Application Security Engineer in Jersey City, New Jersey
Job Responsibilities
Take a role in proposing, planning, and executing tactical security objectives to protect Tradeweb’s application supply chains.
Represent security in development and implementation of security tooling into the S-SDLC
Be a subject matter expert in DevSecOps best practices, especially related to SCA.
Responsible for administration and monitoring of various application security tools.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical process documentation (procedures and playbooks) for application security processes.
Assist in automation of manual application security processes
Able to perform secure code review for a variety of languages, including C++, C#, Java, and JavaScript
Develop, build, and implement a mature and robust set of metrics and reports.
Qualifications
5-7 years of proven experience in application security
Strong understanding of S-SDLC methodologies
Expertise with REST based methods and implementation technologies
Experience with SAST/DAST/IAST and CI/CD tools
Experience with ASPM solutions
Strong experience with Software Composition Analysis tools (i.e. BlackDuck, Xray, Snyk, etc.)
Extensive knowledge of identifying security issues in applications and ability to articulate risk exposure
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working with global teams
CSSLP, GCSA, GDSA or equivalent qualifications preferred

The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $120,000 to $240,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
