Position Summary

Researches, analyzes, evaluates, and administers corporate benefit plans and programs to meet organizational objectives. Oversees and supports assigned programs, including leave of absence programs, paid time off, short- and long-term disability, and salary continuation.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Manages policy oversight and vendor management of leave programs supporting absences, associated payments, and other programs as assigned.

  • Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of all government regulations and ensures compliance with all state and federal laws related to assigned benefits programs.

  • Advises employees on internal benefits policies, guidelines, and documentation requirements.

  • Provides guidance, training, and support to team members.

  • Partners with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure benefits information is accurate and up to date in all applicable systems.

  • Produces and manages reporting metrics and analytics for benefits programs.

  • Conducts audits of benefits packages and policies to ensure compliance with government regulations and plan guidelines.

  • Responds to escalated employee inquiries related to benefits and leave information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related area.

  • 5+ years of benefits and leave administration experience.

  • Vendor management experience.
