Position Summary
Develops financial reports to track the assets, liabilities, profit, and other financial-related activities.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
Analyzes accounting data by processing and interpreting accounts within the general and sub-ledgers.
Processes monthly, quarterly, and annual closing deadlines effectively.
Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial reports.
Calculates and prepares journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.
Processes invoices, manages payments, and coordinates with business partners to resolve any variances.
Partners with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial expertise.
Prepares budgets and forecasts and compares actual performance against projections.
Collaborates with budgeting process and period versus variance analysis reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
2+ years of accounting experience.
Accounts Payable Certified.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems.
