Position Summary

Develops financial reports to track the assets, liabilities, profit, and other financial-related activities.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Analyzes accounting data by processing and interpreting accounts within the general and sub-ledgers.

  • Processes monthly, quarterly, and annual closing deadlines effectively.

  • Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial reports.

  • Calculates and prepares journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.

  • Processes invoices, manages payments, and coordinates with business partners to resolve any variances.

  • Partners with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial expertise.

  • Prepares budgets and forecasts and compares actual performance against projections.

  • Collaborates with budgeting process and period versus variance analysis reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of accounting experience.

  • Accounts Payable Certified.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems.
