Insight Global Sr. .NET Developer in Johnston, Iowa
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a .NET Developer who will be working in a scrum environment working heavily on the back end using .NET 8, OData, REST API, Entity Framework, MS SQL and Azure. The team is working on a repository application. We are looking for a candidate who is a continuous learner and who is a self-starter. This a 12-month contract and we are targeting a pay rate of $55-62 an hour based off experience. Upon submission to our client we will need two professional references complete.

Skills and Requirements
.NET Skills: Proficiency in .NET Version 8.
Backend Expertise: Proficient in backend development, specifically with API and OData protocols. Must have experience with Microsoft OData version 8.
Test-Driven Development: Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies. Experience with SpecFlow is essential.
Frontend Development: Knowledge of Angular 16, as the project will transition to frontend development in the next phase.
CI/CD Proficiency: Ability to troubleshoot Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Azure Cloud Functions: Experience with Azure cloud services, including the development and management of functions.
SQL Server Bulk Load: is advantageous.
Communication: Strong communication skills are required. The candidate must be proactive in asking questions to ensure clarity in task execution. Prior experience working in a scientific research company
Prior experience building and deploying CI/CD models
