As a Financial Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in shaping business decisions by analyzing key financial metrics, optimizing reporting processes, and ensuring accurate month-end closings. Your expertise will empower leadership with the data they need to drive profitability and efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
Month-End Closing - Ensure Accuracy & Efficiency
- Own journal entries and variance reporting, including production variances, rework, PPV, and inventory.
- Deliver insightful end-of-month reports, including KPIs, trend analysis, P&L transaction details, and budget variances.
- Reconcile sub-ledger balances with the general ledger and conduct balance sheet reconciliations with precision.
Reporting & Analysis - Deliver Insights that Matter
- Conduct trend analysis and "what-if" scenarios to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare revenue and contribution margin reports, offering key insights into business performance.
- Analyze financial variances across plans, forecasts, and historical data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate on ERP upgrades and process standardization efforts to enhance financial operations.
- Assist with annual budgeting, revenue forecasting, and cost center reporting.
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards, ensuring real-time financial visibility.
Financial Support & Process Improvement - Be a Change Maker
- Maintain and enhance general ledger processes, ensuring data integrity.
- Respond to internal and external financial inquiries with confidence and accuracy.
- Continuously refine accounting procedures to drive efficiency and compliance.
- Support the annual financial audit and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
- Lead ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects that shape the company's financial strategy.
