Purpose:
Work on most tasks with instructions on the expected overall results. He works on problems in different areas in which the analysis of information requires the evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies by selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Erroneous decisions or recommendations or failure to achieve results would normally result in a serious delay in the program or project and a significant expenditure of resources. It provides assistance in the development of new product processes and provides technical support for the transfer to the manufacturing plant in Juarez and during the start of regular production.

Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Johnson & Johnson's procedures and guidelines, this position:
Applies an intense and diverse knowledge of engineering principles and practices in assignment areas and related fields.
He makes independent decisions about engineering problems and methods and represents the organization at conferences to solve important questions and to plan and coordinate work.

Supervision and guidance broadly related to requirements, critical situations, new concepts, and policy issues.
Consult supervisors about unusual problems.
You are responsible for one or more of the following points:1. In his capacity as a supervisor, he plans, develops, coordinates, and directs a large major engineering project or a small number of projects with many complicated features.2. As an individual researcher, you carry out complex or new tasks that require new or improved techniques or procedures.3. As a specialist staff, you develop and evaluate plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities that will be carried out by others.4. Addresses the feasibility and robustness of proposed engineering, product, or equipment evaluation tests when the necessary information is insufficient or confirmation by means of testing is recommended.
Acts as a staff advisor regarding technical specialties, the type of facilities or equipment, or the function of a program.
You can technically supervise, coordinate and review the work of a small group of engineers and technicians, estimate the necessary manpower and scheduling and assign the work to meet the completion date. Or as an individual researcher or specialist staff, you can be assisted in projects by other engineers and technicians.

Responsible for conducting design reviews and pre-validation evaluations to ensure the safety and ecological soundness of the start of a new process.
Is responsible for communicating business-related matters or opportunities to the next managerial level
For those who supervise or manage personnel, they are responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all of the Company's guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environment practices and that all necessary resources to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
Is responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State and Local company regulations, policies and procedures

Qualifications
External Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and nine or more years of related engineering experience
Master's degree in a relevant discipline and seven or more years of related engineering experience
PhD in a relevant discipline and four or more years of related engineering experience.
Significant engineering experience at a complex level.
Experience in the medical device industry is considered a plus.
Knowledge in Six Sigma, preferably
Must possess a clear mastery of the practical, theoretical and experimental foundations of engineering techniques.
Communication skills in English, spoken and written
