About the Team
The MSP Sales Specialist will join the Service Providers team at Nutanix, a dynamic group focused on driving revenue growth and building strong partnerships with Service Provider prospects and customers across the United States. This team embraces a collaborative culture that values strategic thinking and problem-solving, with a mission to evolve the Service Provider business model and enhance productivity through innovative solutions. By fostering relationships and promoting cross-functional collaboration, the Service Providers team aims to maximize growth opportunities while maintaining high ethical standards and integrity in business practices.
You will report to the Director, Service Providers - Americas, who leads with an emphasis on mentorship and empowerment, encouraging team members to take ownership of their projects while providing guidance and support. This is a fully remote role, allowing for flexibility in your work environment, with no requirement to go into the office unless necessary for specific meetings or events.
This position will require approximately 50% travel, allowing you to engage directly with partners and customers, conduct business reviews, and strengthen relationships in various regions. Your travel will be crucial for achieving the short and long-term sales goals set for the Service Provider market.
Your Role
Drive revenue and pipeline growth in the Service Provider market , meeting sales goals.
Manage the complete sales cycle and build strong partnerships with Service Provider prospects.
Optimize strategic coverage model for enhanced productivity and ROI.
Collaborate with Nutanix Account Managers to promote tenant services and close deals.
Develop and execute comprehensive business plans focused on relationship building and solution development.
Conduct regular business reviews and track performance metrics with partners.
Educate partners on Nutanix's value proposition and identify growth opportunities.
Implement proactive strategies for cross-functional collaboration and adapt business initiatives as needed.
What You Will Bring
10+ years of sales experience focusing on Service Providers .
Strong business acumen and proven leadership capabilities.
Exceptional organizational skills with a successful sales plan track record.
Excellent written and verbal communication for effective relationship building.
Proficient in negotiation and influencing to drive action.
In-depth understanding of infrastructure, cloud solutions, and IT services management.
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
High ethical standards and integrity in business practices.
Work Arrangement
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 245,680 and USD $ 368,250 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
