Description We are offering a role in the healthcare industry, specifically in the hospitals and social assistance sector, for an HR Recruiter located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This role involves the recruitment process for assigned client groups, conducting interviews, and providing support to various departments. This role is 100% onsite, M-F, 8am-5pm. Must be able to pass certain preplacement expectations (all candidates required to undergo all candidates required to undergo all candidates required to undergo all candidates required to undergo drug screening etc.).

Responsibilities: • Offer guidance to management team members in relation to employee discipline and other employee-related issues. • Participate in the recruitment process by posting jobs as necessary on internal and external platforms, reviewing resumes, and forwarding applicants who meet minimum requirements to the hiring supervisor. • Conduct interviews for various positions and make hiring recommendations. • Conduct reference checks and/or verification of employment for potential new employees as backup to departmental administrative personnel. • Verify references, perform necessary background checks on applicants, and extend offers as requested. • Prepare offer letters and other correspondences as per the instructions of the Director of Human Resources. • Coordinate and participate in New permanent orientation, presenting overviews of Human Resources policies, benefits, and other programs. • Maintain accurate filing of human resources departmental files, employee files, and perform all other clerical/administration tasks. • Maintain accurate information within the payroll system to ensure critical records information is up to date. • Assist as backup in maintaining employees' benefit information and reconciling invoices to ensure appropriate changes are made for enrollment and termination of employees. • Conduct benefit enrollment sessions with new employees, ensuring timely enrollment into benefits plans. • Responsible for timely issuance and follow-up of related FMLA documents to those who qualify along with tracking FMLA time. • Participate in administrative office coverage as necessary. • Participate in detail oriented development activities to keep current with human resources and administrative trends, practices, and productivity tools. • Collaborate with HR Manager to conduct Open Enrollment, yearly. Communicate changes and present updates to all benefits eligible staff.

Skills: • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Careerbuilder, Kronos Timekeeping System, Microsoft Excel, and About Time. • Experience with Background Checks, Benefit Functions, Documentation, Hiring Processes, and Diversity Recruitment. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a HR Recruiter role, preferably within the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industries

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Experience using Careerbuilder and Kronos Timekeeping System

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Familiarity with About Time software

• Ability to conduct Background Checks as part of the hiring process

• Understanding of Benefit Functions within the HR spectrum

• Strong Documentation skills

• Proficiency in executing Hiring Processes

• Experience in Diversity Recruitment

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
