Job Description Summary Provides program oversight and strategic direction for the EHS management system at one production facility (and potentially ancillary facilities). Drives technical solutions and provides leadership and direction for EHS aspects of plant operations, including engineering and maintenance projects. Oversees and drives results to meet sustainable development program goals and objectives. Oversees and supervises Team Leader Safety and Nurse at the facility. Participate in development of corporate EHS management system program and roll out implementation plans to establish an effective EHS management program at each covered facility. Job Description * Oversees EHS activities at one production facility (and potentially support facilities) * Ensure all facility staff receives appropriate EHS training * Champion and support the EHS Pillar Team and Sustainable Development Program * Monitor and mentor EHS Pillar Team * Track and manage monthly/annual submittals of Sustainable Development information (data, goals, award applications, etc.) * Administer EHS corporate program at the facility to build an operating culture that integrates safety and environmental into daily operations * EHS Program Management * EHS audit and regulatory inspection preparation * Participate in EHS audit process at other facilities * Manage Facility EHS Program and owner of all EHS KPIs * Ensure all program requirements are met in a timely manner * Ensure monitoring and tracking is up to date * Develop EHS risk register at the site * Utilize risk assessment techniques to improve machine safety, ergonomics, and mechanical integrity of equipment * Communicate potential risks to facility operations leadership and corporate * EHS leadership based on evaluation of data * Provide technical support in the identification, evaluation, and control of the occupational safety, health and environmental hazards * Lead incident management efforts to ensure timely reporting, accurate root cause analysis (TapRooT©), and CAPA sharing * Ensure effective corrective and preventive actions are developed and tracked to completion * Process Safety Management * Ensure corporate and regulatory required programs are being managed, support and fulfilled in coordination with facility engineering and safety management. * Ensure plant capital and R&M projects are supported from an EHS perspective-identify potential safety, environmental and sustainability impacts relative to project work. * Participate in early management design and review process, management of change, and whenever new substances, processes, or procedures are introduced that may represent a new or previously u To view the full job description,
