We are seeking a talented P6 Project Scheduling and Controls Specialist with our Federal Services group to focus on federal Department of Energy projects. Responsibilities Our P6 Project Scheduling and Controls Specialist has the opportunity to collaborate on our federal Department of Energy projects, with project management teams and senior leadership, analyzing cost and schedules for critical project success. A typical day may include supporting interactive planning sessions, preparing engineering project schedules using Primavera P6, attending meetings, developing reports, and effectively collaborating with project managers, project engineers and other key stakeholders. You will also need to: Project Scheduling & Planning Excellence: Utilize Primavera P6 to develop engineering project schedules, including WBS and logic-driven activities, utilizing interactive planning sessions and critical path analysis. Resource-load project schedules based on project management's estimates and budgets. Revise, maintain, and re-baseline project schedules throughout the lifecycle, incorporating weekly updates Performance Analysis & Reporting: Analyze critical and near-critical paths to meet key project objectives. Conduct Earned Value (EV) and variance analysis to assess cost and schedule performance. Prepare, review, and distribute scheduling reports, including EV and customized reports using P6 and Excel. Ensure accurate reporting, variance explanations, and progress updates against physical % complete and cost budgets Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication: Keep project managers and senior leadership informed of progress, delays, cost overruns, and key productivity metrics by tracking KPIs and trends. Collaborate with project managers, project engineers, and stakeholders across divisions to maintain project schedules. Interface with ENERCON's client counterparts for smooth communication and schedule alignment Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in applicable field and minimum of 5 years of Primavera P6 experience; or Associate's Degree in applicable field and minimum of 7 years of Primavera P6 experience Experience with U. S. Department of Energy projects and DOE Order 413.3b project controls and scheduling requirements, or applicable federal experience Demonstrated proficiency using Primavera P6 software for interactive planning, schedule development, & reporting in the engineering industry Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of programs including Excel Strong organizational, communication & collaboration skills to manage multiple schedules and interface with multiple project managers and project engineers Ability to work hybrid or remotely and independently with a high level of attention to detai
