MILLAT INDUSTRIES CORP. QA Technician in Kettering, Ohio
3rd Shift. Sunday - Thursday 11:00 pm - 7:30 am The Quality Technician position provides engineering and technical support to the mass production division. Additionally, this position maintains part quality through routine inspection and floor audits. This position also requires strong communication skills and working positively with leads and associates in a team-oriented environment.
Essential Job Functions
- 3rd Shift. Sunday - Thursday 11:00 pm - 7:30 am 10% shift differential
- Operate multiple CMMs programmed with PC-DMIS.
- Use hand gauges (calipers, micrometers, height stands, etc.) to inspect manufactured products.
- Assist engineering/quality departments by gathering and analyzing data for continuous improvement activities.
- Establish a positive rapport and excellent communication with production leads and associates.
- Meet customer delivery requirements by utilizing time effectively.
- Utilize lean manufacturing techniques in daily activities.
- Follow and Enforce quality procedures throughout the entire shop.
