As the Logistics Specialist, you will provide strategic oversight and management of biopharm out-bound and in-bound drug substance for both domestic and international shipments. Key functions will also include developing and implementing strong business systems to establish and manage partnerships with GSK Move Product and Logistics Service Providers (LSP).

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.  These responsibilities include some of the following: Manage all bulk drug substance (BDS) shipments from primary manufacturing site to secondary sites, internal or contractor facilities, including import and export documents in a cGMP facility. Management of Sanctions and Export Controls Responsible for documentation related to bulk drug substance shipments, including distribution risk assessments (DRAs), Logistics Service Provider (LSP) procedures, Invoices Manage site relationship with Logistics Service Providers around standard shipping, new shipping lanes and materials and vendor complaints. Management of ERP notifications related to BDS shipping, including deviations, corrective and preventative actions, change controls for new lanes or shipping containers, and sales and distribution data. Assist with developing BDS Package design, shipping validation, and selection of cold chain distribution lanes Ensuring alignment with QMS and regulatory requirements with regards to BDS shipping. Participate in internal and Regulatory audits as a Subject Matter Expert for site Logistics Why you?Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Bachelor's degree 3+ years' logistics experience 3+ years' experience in project management Cold chain experience Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Import and export experience Change management experience including leadership of projects Proven ability to build relationships across the organization Strong verbal and written communication skills
