Description
We are seeking an experienced Install Technician II to join our team. AsFiber Install Technician II(FIT II), you will be responsible for installing and maintaining a variety of technical equipment and systems. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, strong customer services skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Installing, disconnecting, conducting maintenance, and troubleshooting high-speed data, telephony, and other services.
- Conduct tests and inspections to ensure equipment meets quality standards and specifications.
- Drive a company vehicle bet ween office or home, where house and work sites in a safe and courteous manner and in accordance with all laws and company policies
- Monitor Wecom Fiber current work enabled systems throughout the day for information regarding changes to work schedules and for information about current work assignments.
- Communicating with our Center of Excellence and the dispatch team for onsite support and/or routing assistance.
- Interacting with customers and educating them regarding services and products - provide excellent customer white glove service for in home and in office customer facing telecommunications installations.
- Participate in team meetings as schedule and attending job-related training
- Working with low voltage electrical and color-coded wires
- Maintaining accurate and high-quality recordkeeping of transactions.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are familiar with the operation and maintenance of installed equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and coordinate installation projects, ensuring timely completion.
- Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including documentation of work performed and any modifications or upgrades made.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, continuously updating knowledge and skills.
