Aerotek Machine Operator in Knoxville, Tennessee

Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment. Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment. Load and unload items on the production line, including packaging or unpacking products. Start and stop the production line as needed to keep up with workflow and prevent potential safety hazards.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect products for defects and pull items off the line before they proceed further in the production process.

  • Produce products within 100% specification as requested by the customer.

  • Deliver products to meet scheduled customer demands and meet quality objectives.

  • Work with manufacturing staff on quality and production-related issues.

  • Possess the ability to read and understand ruler and traceability records.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr.
