To offer support to our customers experience, we are now looking to add a Customer Quality Field Technician to join our Design Quality team in our Product Development Department. You must have a passion for customers (and users) of our products and curiosity about what quality means to them.

Good communication skills are essential for this role as it involves working closely with cross-functional teams, providing feedback on product design improvements, and effectively communicating test results and recommendations to stakeholders. You must have “a hands-on” approach.

This role can be based from either our Kolding or Silkeborg sites.

Job Responsibilities

As our new Customer Quality Field Technician , you will be responsible for:

• Creating the framework around Field Tests along with planning and executing them.

• Analyzing data and test results and forming meaningful conclusions.

• Working closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, quality engineers, and product managers, to ensure that our products meet or exceed customer expectations.

• Collecting subjective feedback from customers and end users

• Collating test results and feedback and presenting in an effective manner to a variety of stakeholders to communicate recommendations and improvements.

• Travelling to various field locations as required, primarily within Europe (circa 15-20 days per annum)

Background & Skills

To thrive in this role as Customer Quality Field Technician, we would expect you to demonstrate:

• Relevant experience in a related role such as a technician or installer, with a sound technical understanding. Alternately, a Bachelor's degree or similar relevant qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering would also be considered.

• Advantageous would be experience within field testing, quality assurance, technical customer support, installation or a similar related role.

• Frontline passion for customer satisfaction and a drive for continuous improvement.

• Structured and methodical approach to problem solving, with a keen eye for detail.

• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test planning, test execution, data analysis and statistical methods for evaluating results.

• Strong communication skills and an ability to influence cross-functional teams, including Danfoss sales companies and customers, without formal authority.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload across multiple projects.

• Excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate test results and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
