We are looking for an Intern to join our company as a Junior EDI Engineer working in the EDI Engineering team, supporting B2B/B2G integration with our clients around the world.
This role will help you get started with EDI (electronic data interchange) in commercial IT, enabling you to work closely with e-business, middleware and ERP teams to meet business requirements across the order-to-cash process.
The internship offers students the opportunity for 12 months of involvement in multiple functions within the EDI Engineering team, including preparing technical documentation, supporting testing and working closely with our business partners.
What you’ll do
Support the configuration, setting up and maintenance of our EDI/B2B solutions (EDI, 3rd Party vendor platforms) to ensure continuous expansion of our EDI space.
Maintain mapping specifications for B2B/EDI integrations.
Help with setting up connectivity between Cytiva’s and 3rd party systems.
Work closely with our eCommerce, middleware, and ERP teams during the entire electronic channel lifecycle.
Support daily operations of Cytiva EDI solutions to ensure smooth data flow between Cytiva’s and our customers’ systems.
Perform troubleshooting (root cause analysis) for production incidents.
What we are looking for:
Studies in Information Technology, Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent preferred.
Basic knowledge of EDI standards (XML, EDIFACT, X12, etc.)
Experience in writing SQL queries.
Effective time management, organizational and communication skills; able to balance multiple priorities.
Proactiveness and taking ownership until business queries are resolved.
Fluency in English language.
Willing to work full-time during summer and min. 20h/week during academic year.
Preferred location is Krakow, Poland, but remote candidates will be considered.
