Robert Half Accountant in La Quinta, California
Description We are in need of an Accountant for a short-term project in La Quinta, California. The role will involve working on a reconciliation project concerning HOA project billing for a one-time special charge to all residents during improvements. The position requires experience with GL and sub-ledger and will be on a part-time basis for 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
• Reconcile accounts with the general ledger
• Manage special one-time charge billing to residents during improvements
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Utilize accounting software systems for financial management
• Work on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions
• Utilize Great Plains (GPAC) for accounting functions
• Conduct auditing tasks as necessary
• Participate in budget processes
• Process and monitor customer credit applications
• Resolve customer credit inquiries and maintain accurate customer credit records as necessary. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services
• Knowledgeable in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions
• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) is highly desirable
• Must be able to handle all Accounting Functions efficiently
• Demonstrated experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficient in Auditing practices and principles
• Must have a solid understanding and experience of Budget Processes
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
• High level of interpersonal skills with demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
