**[Journeyman Logistician (PMA260):

[Job Responsibilities: [This position will provide Integrated Logistics Product Support (IPS) program management and other logistics support services in acquisition and sustainment for the life cycle of specified weapons systems, System of Systems (SoS), sub-systems, and Support Equipment (SE) for the Common Aviation SE Program Office (PMA260). Will perform tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs. Duties involve working on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources; development of logistics support and maintainability programs/plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary/financial analysis and control; Life Cycle Cost analysis and control; weapons systems hardware/software standardization and compatibility; IPS/Reliability and Maintainability (RandM) program Test and Evaluation planning and execution; and IPS/RandM program management analysis. Also, will collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research, or apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information. Other tasks include developing, modifying, preparing, or validating documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems. [Some travel may be required. Positional duties may include other tasks on an as-needed basis. Position is located at Naval Air Warfare Center Lakehurst, NJ, and includes a hybrid (in-office and telework) work environment. **Requisition #ESI0099.

  • Requires an BA/BS degree and at least (3) three years of experience in defense life-cycle acquisition logistics. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: AA/AS degree with an additional (4) four years of experience OR a high school diploma/GED and an additional six (6) years of experience.
  • Must be a US citizen, have a valid state driver's license, and must possess an active DoD Secret-level security clearance.
