Naval Air Systems Command LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in Lakehurst, New Jersey

Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the V-22 Branch of the SE Department, SE & ALRE GROUP, NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER AIRCRAFT DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE. Responsibilities You will develop sustainment strategies to address current and future Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases. You will analyze Foreign Military Sales (FMS) integrated logistical support (ILS) programs to identify efficiencies or deficiencies and recommend corrective action. You will brief stakeholders on the progress toward meeting logistical objectives of acquisition programs. You will write estimates and proposals to correspond with resources, schedules, and customer expectations. You will resolve integrated logistical support (ILS) problems by developing new approaches and procedures. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Leading the planning, coordination, direction, evaluation and implementation of life-cycle acquisition and logistics support for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) projects and/programs. 2) Utilizing knowledge of regulations and policies concerning and/or affecting FMS country and case management to provide expert guidance with actions directly related to support equipment acquisition and logistics support 3) Developing and implementing corrective actions, program enhancements, new processes and policy changes to resolve logistics problems/issues 4) Identifying specific requirements for funds, manpower, material, facilities, training, and services needed to provide support for the logistics program, and correlating these requirements with overall program plans to assure that needed support is provided as required.
