Acelero Learning Administrative Assistant in Las Vegas, Nevada

The Extended Day Administrative Assistant will work to provide administrative support to the Director and the extended day program. This position will initiate and coordinate the clerical and secretarial functions required in effective implementation of administrative policies of the program. The Extended Day Administrative Assistant will ultimately be evaluated on a combination of skills, dispositions and behaviors, some of which are related to the specific service area of this position and others that represent general expectations of all Acelero Learning employees. Job Resonsbilities: • Use effective organizing systems to provide administrative support to a variety of stakeholders and projects. • Develop systems to effectively organize information and provides it to others as needed • Effectively prioritize projects delegated to accomplish tasks in the timeframe specified and at a high level of quality • Accurately communicate information via e-mail, memos and other written and verbal correspondence Job Requirements: • High School Diploma. AA/AS in business or related field preferred • Bilingual Spanish preferred • Prior experience with office/general administration • Professional demeanor and representation for the organization • Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic atmosphere • Advanced computer literacy in email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Must be proficient in reading, writing and oral communication in Spanish and English. • Minimum of one-year experience with School reach system, Procare software, Childcare subsidy process, and all procedures dealing with In-kind • Experience with Head Start preferred • Advanced computer skills, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft excel • Adapt to change quickly and meet deadlines and expectations. • Ability to work well under pressure and work within short time constraints • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation with state-mandated minimum insurance coverage(s) on your vehicle • Pass physical examination, background check, and fingerprinting screen
