Adecco US, Inc. Quality Lab Technician in Laurel Hill, North Carolina

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Lab Technician to join our team in a textile mill specializing in the production of high-performance thread for tire manufacturing. The Quality Lab Technician will be responsible for testing and inspecting raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure they meet industry and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory tests on fibers, yarns, and finished threads to assess strength, durability, and compliance with quality standards.

  • Conduct routine inspections of production samples, documenting results and identifying any deviations from specifications.

  • Operate and maintain lab equipment such as tensile testers, microscopes, and moisture analyzers.

  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and recommend process improvements.

  • Maintain accurate records of test results and prepare reports for management.

  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality-related concerns.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements.

  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized lab environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Previous experience in a textile lab, manufacturing quality control, or a related field is a plus.

  • Knowledge of textile testing methods and standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO) is an advantage.

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.

  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs and stand for extended periods during testing procedures.

Pay Details: $20.17 an hour
