Adecco US, Inc. Quality Lab Technician in Laurel Hill, North Carolina
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Lab Technician to join our team in a textile mill specializing in the production of high-performance thread for tire manufacturing. The Quality Lab Technician will be responsible for testing and inspecting raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure they meet industry and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform laboratory tests on fibers, yarns, and finished threads to assess strength, durability, and compliance with quality standards.
Conduct routine inspections of production samples, documenting results and identifying any deviations from specifications.
Operate and maintain lab equipment such as tensile testers, microscopes, and moisture analyzers.
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and recommend process improvements.
Maintain accurate records of test results and prepare reports for management.
Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality-related concerns.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized lab environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or GED required
Previous experience in a textile lab, manufacturing quality control, or a related field is a plus.
Knowledge of textile testing methods and standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO) is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
Ability to lift up to 20lbs and stand for extended periods during testing procedures.

Pay Details: $20.17 an hour
