Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled Linux Systems Administrator. In this role, you will be tasked with managing and configuring Ubuntu servers, interpreting system logs, and handling Preboot Execution Environment (PXE).
Responsibilities:
• Ensure Ubuntu servers are installed, configured, and maintained to the highest standard.
• Regularly assess and upgrade systems to ensure enhanced functionality and resolve any security issues.
• Monitor system performance and resources, implementing measures to ensure optimal performance.
• Effectively manage system/network security to prevent breaches and maintain integrity.
• Maintain and administer accurate system documentation, logs, and reports.
• Translate complex system logs into understandable, actionable insights.
• Manage PXE for efficient network-based software installations.
• Troubleshoot server issues, implementing solutions as necessary.
• Administer system backups, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and support for users and IT team members.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a Linux Systems Administrator role
• Proficiency in Ubuntu and Ubuntu Server
• Experience with PXE (Preboot eXecution Environment)
• Demonstrable competency in Linux System Administration
• Familiarity with Linux Technologies
• Ability to interpret and manage System Logs
• Knowledge of Security Protocols relevant to Linux Systems Administration
