How you'll make an impact:
As a Network and Regulatory Engineer Intern, you'll work with full-timers to learn how we maintain and build critical network infrastructure including uplink and receiver designs, simulations and tests to support the Sirius XM and Pandora technology platform. In addition, you will help build the wireless networks that deliver our service. Invent, design, and build network, systems, and processes that are stable, redundant, and performant.
What you'll do:
On any given day, you might be working on cross-team projects in diverse areas, including:
Building software to enhance network performance monitoring tools.
Developing software to support the design of wireless network test hardware tools.
Analyzing wireless network design performance data.
What you'll need:
Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (those graduating by September 2025 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship.
Currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, network engineering or other technical disciplines.
Knowledge of development languages (e.g., Ruby, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, etc.), version control platforms such as GitHub, and management platforms such as SQL.
Knowledge of Machine Learning and AI are a plus.
Experience with data analysis using Altyrex and Matlab is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organization skills.
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be $40/hr and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
