Summary

CHENEGA FACILITIES MANAGEMENT, LLC

Fort Sill, OK

The Tools & Parts Attendant will receive, store, and issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, and equipment, such as measuring devices.

Responsibilities

  • Keeps records of tools issued to and returned by workers.

  • Prepares periodic inventory or keep perpetual inventory and requisition stock as needed.

  • Maintains Bench Stock and Shop Stock in accordance with current directives.

  • Unpacks and stores new equipment.

  • Visually inspects tools or measures with micrometer for wear or defects and reports damaged or worn-out equipment to superiors.

  • May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience as a vehicle maintenance or parts counter worker OR

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in customer service, inventory and/or supply may be substituted for the vehicle maintenance or parts counterwork.

  • Possess and maintain a current Oklahoma Driver’s License

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) for computer access

  • Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) experience is preferred.

  • Computer experience with MS Excel, MS Word and MS Email experience preferred.

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee may use repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
