Leadership Learning Academy Behavior Support Specialist in LAYTON, Utah
A charter school in Layton, is now accepting applications for a Full Time Behavioral Support position for the upcoming school year.
Leadership Learning Academy is a tuition-free public charter elementary school. We offer a research-based model to challenge students to become confident learners and leaders. Leadership Learning Academy is looking for teachers who have a strong background in specific core subjects including reading, math, science, social studies, etc.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
*Support teachers as they implement behavior interventions in the regular ed classroom
*Collaborate with admin team to develop and implement behavior interventions
*Communicate with staff and parents regarding behavior intervention implementations
*Spend time in classrooms supporting teachers as they work with students who have behavior needs
*Complete observations on students with behavior needs
*Monitor progress of students with behavior interventions
*Assist administrators with daily office referrals, including interviewing students and developing appropriate consequences
Qualified applicants will have the following:
5 years' experience in an education setting at the elementary level preferred.
Bachelor's degree
