Job Title: Pharmacist - Eye Care Product Transition

Job Description

These pharmacists will be working on a new project to assist in the transition of patients from a discontinued eye care product to a new substitute. This role involves direct communication with physicians, data entry, and prescription processing.

Responsibilities

  • Call physicians who have prescribed the discontinued eye care product and inform them about the new substitute product.

  • Explain to physicians that the company will no longer produce the old drug and they need to convert all patients to the new drug.

  • Convert patient information into the system and update their prescriptions to the new drug.

  • Reach out to the contracted pharmacy to fill the new eye care prescriptions.

  • Pharmacy technician license

  • State of NJ Pharmacist License

  • PharmD

Work Environment

This role is on-site and involves working with phones and computers. The shift is Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
