job summary:

An Quality Control Inspection Technician for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Leesburg, VA area. This position will perform quality assurance and quality control inspection duties, including inspection of implants, instruments and gauges as required to ensure the dimensional and visual integrity of product in accordance with all required quality specifications, standards, goals and objectives.

salary: $20.57 - 28.87 per hour

work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: High School

responsibilities:

  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections of implants, instruments, and gauges.

  • Ensure products meet all required quality specifications, standards, goals, and objectives.

  • Conduct receiving inspections and related activities.

  • Read and inspect to blueprints and/or inspection guide sheets.

  • Use standard gages, custom gages, and comparators for inspections.

  • Perform Document Review and Product Verification Inspection (PVI) in compliance with GMP requirements.

  • Perform material and component receiving inspections.

Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Understanding of Inspection Sampling Plans.

  • Familiarity with GD&T.

  • strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a team-based environment with a focus on quality, performance, cross-training, customer service, and accountability.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 3 years of product inspection experience in a cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) manufacturing environment.
