Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Semi Skilled Laborer (Seasonal)- Beltzville State Park in Lehighton, Pennsylvania

We are currently seeking a Semi-Skilled Laborer who is not only passionate about maintaining the park facilities but also dedicated to ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our visitors. By joining our team, you will play a vital role in keeping the park in excellent condition, allowing visitors to have a memorable and relaxing experience. DESCRIPTION OF WORK The role entails carrying out semi-skilled manual labor in the construction and upkeep of a State Park. The responsibilities include performing tasks that require a certain level of skill, either independently or by supporting a skilled worker, in order to complete routine maintenance and construction work at the park. Additionally, the position involves conducting repairs on various buildings and facilities within the park. This entails utilizing a range of tools from carpentry, electrical, plumbing, masonry, and other building trades to effectively carry out the necessary maintenance work. Furthermore, the role requires operating and assisting in the maintenance, care, and cleaning of vehicles and equipment used throughout the park. This ensures that all vehicles and equipment are in proper working condition and ready for use whenever needed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Seasonal Full-time employment without benefits. The season runs approximately from March through November. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Thursday - Monday, with 30-minute lunch. Scheduled days will vary based on operational needs. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Condition of Employment:

This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
