Description
Controller with cash management experience and senior living industry will play a pivotal role in overseeing cash management and financial analysis for our organization. This role will also focus on the month-end close process and financial statement analysis, making it a critical function within our team. Responsibilities:
• Ensure the timely, complete, and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements for assigned communities and operating entities.
• Conduct thorough reviews of financial statements to identify operational issues that require attention.
• Oversee cash management activities including ACH, wires, and capital spending.
• Maintain the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers for communities and entities within your responsibility.
• Provide financial analysis as requested by assigned communities
• Prepare financial reporting needs for the annual audit and cost reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate in the timely preparation of annual operating and capital budgets in coordination with executive directors.
• Utilize key skills such as CapEx, Budget Processes, Cash Management, and Month End Close to enhance the financial operations of the organization.

Requirements
Key:
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
8 - 20 plus years of experience
senior community living accounting experience ideal or Healthcare – or acute care a plus if no senior living experience.
Month end close and financial statement and analysis a must
Cash management a must
Yardi a plus
( no need for long term or short term investment – that is outsourced )
Any insurance – general liability experience a plus
