Lab Technician
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming cancer tissue specimens, as well as isolating, purifying, and formulating cancer single-cell populations to produce patient-specific autologous vaccines. This role requires proficiency in utilizing basic laboratory equipment and performing various cell culture techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and process incoming cancer tissue specimens and apheresis collections.
Isolate, purify, and formulate cancer single-cell populations to produce patient-specific autologous vaccines.
Utilize basic laboratory equipment including incubators, centrifuges, biological safety cabinets, water baths, etc.
Seed, passage, monitor, and harvest cancer cell populations to facilitate the expansion of initial specimen collections.
Seed, passage, monitor, and harvest T-Cell cultures.
Conduct various lab activities such as prepping, loading on plates, and sterilizing items.
Skills and Competencies:
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in a related life-science (Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, etc.)
1-3 years of experience preferred. Entry level candidates with relevant academic research and/or laboratory experience are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in aseptic technique in the laboratory and microbiology lab techniques.
Experience with cell culture techniques.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
