The role

In a nutshell:

We are seeking a highly motivated, technical Business Analyst with expertise in Agile working to join our Business Intelligence team. The Business Analyst (gn) will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our stakeholder needs and our technical team's capabilities.

  • Closely collaborates with the Product Owner and other team members

  • Act as the contact point for processes implementation in the BI Team and Workload management

    The key responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering: Elicit and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements from Product Owner and / or stakeholders through meetings, workshops and other requirement-gathering techniques

  • Business Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains

  • Team Collaboration: Engage with end-users, project managers and technical teams to understand business objectives, clarify requirements and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle

  • Documentation: Create clear and comprehensive requirement specifications, features & user stories, use cases, process flows, and other relevant documentation that effectively communicates project needs to the development/core team

  • Requirement Traceability: Establish and maintain traceability between requirements and design documents, test cases, and other project artifacts to ensure project compliance and alignment with business objectives

  • Solution Design Support: Work closely with the PO and the development/core team to assist in translating business requirements into functional specifications and participate in design discussions

  • Impact Analysis: Assess the impact of proposed changes on existing systems, processes and projects and provide recommendations for mitigation

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to requirements and participate in risk assessment and risk management activities

  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the testing team to ensure that test cases and scenarios cover all specified requirements and that the delivered solution meets the desired business outcomes

  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to improve processes, tools and methodologies related to business analysis and requirements engineering

  • Write specifications, document the solution, create daily reports and organize sprint planning & review sessions

  • Work closely with the PO and other team members through workshops in order to better understand business requirements

  • Provide necessary business information to the development team

  • Implement new working practices within existing business framework

  • Work in agile environment, focusing on planning and realization of each sprint

What we need to see from you

your experience & knowledge

  • 2+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst and/or Requirements Engineer in an Agile team environment

  • Experience with managing Backlog in GCP DevOps;

  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and their application in the requirements engineering process

  • Experience with requirement management tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, etc.) is a plus

  • High-level understanding of technical concepts in the Business Intelligence & Data world

  • Proficiency in requirement-gathering techniques and documentation standards (e.g. use cases, user stories, BPMN etc.)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field

  • French and English are working languages
