Job Title: Janitor
Job Description
The individual will be responsible for cleaning hospital rooms in the hospital. Mostly discharges (when someone is discharged and the room is sanitized in between patients). There will be a ton of walking involved so the candidate must be comfortable being on their feet all day. They will wipe down equipment, empty trash, sweep floors, and dust. They will clean up spills, mop, and swipe down surfaces as needed. There are multiple floors so attention to detail is important.
Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize hospital rooms, especially after patient discharges
Wipe down equipment and surfaces
Empty trash bins
Sweep and mop floors
Dust surfaces
Clean up spills
Use hospital-issued iPhones to receive assignments and work orders
Access cleaning tutorials via iPhones if needed
Learn the hospital floor plan within a reasonable amount of time
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
