Job Summary | Your main responsibility will be to support collaborative research focused on the molecular, cellular, and organ-level mechanisms that contribute to heart failure. This will include analysis of echocardiograms and data extraction from medical records. As a postdoctoral associate, you will be expected to participate in collecting myocardial samples from operating rooms. This includes helping our team provide 24/7 call for organ procurement. Submission deadlines and mentor/mentee availability may also necessitate hours outside of a standard daytime shift. Teaching, mentoring, and guiding other students to achieve project goals will be required. You will have the opportunity to interact with clinicians and many other researchers at the University of Kentucky. This workload represents full-time engagement on projects and pursuit of the program objectives. |
