The Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) is responsible for the management, direction, administration and development of security programs and procedures for Special Access Programs. The CPSO is the primary interface with government agencies regarding assigned program security matters and requirements.
Duties include:
Perform program security administrative tasks and duties, to include initial access eligibility determinations, preparation of nomination packages and access requests, Security Education & Training, and Investigation/documentation of security incidents
Maintain incoming and outgoing classified visit certifications and personnel security records
Conduct internal self-inspections and assist with Customer Security Assessments
Maintain classified material accountability and records
Assist in the development of Program documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures
Ensure adequate Physical Security, to include Fixed Facility Checklists and maintenance of necessary waiver/approval records
Serve as Assistant Facility Security Officer
Other duties as required by NISPOM, DoD Instructions, local policies and procedures, and ACE Corporate objectives
Support the COMSEC requirements; maintain proper inventory and controls over COMSEC material.
Publish the monthly security newsletter to correlate with the second payroll date of each month.
Apply business-minded and risk-managed solutions to Department of Defense (DoD) security issues and business challenges, and communicate observations and recommendations to leadership.
In the FSO’s absence, maintain and provide facility support with security systems including access control systems, intrusion detection systems, lock and key control. Assist the FSO in the following areas: Managing security for ACE Consulting Group’s facilities, to include creating a secure environment for employees, vendors, and company visitors.
Developing and delivering required (NISP) security awareness training courses for all cleared personnel.
Developing and delivering a comprehensive continual security awareness program that supplements and enhances the NISP requirements.
Developing and managing a comprehensive security Standard Practice Procedures (SPP).
Managing visit requests, DD-254s, employee records, initiate clearances & start reinvestigations in JPAS/DISS.
Developing and managing an Insider Threat Program.
Conducting administrative inquiries for security violations and conducting the requisite investigations and interviews related to compromises, or potential compromises, of classified information.

Requirements
Possess a current Top Secret security clearance
A minimum of 3 years’ experience as an FSO
Knowledge of DoD and Federal Agencies' controlled unclassified information (CUI)/sensitive information security requirements.
Ability to respond to alarms after hours, weekends and holidays as necessary.
Strong attention to detail and a customer service orientation.
Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team in a growing company.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Description
$75,307.00 - $106,448.00 depending on experience
