Advocate Condell Centre Club, managed by HealthFitness, is looking for a new, full-time Business Coordinator.

Business Coordinator, Libertyville, IL

30 hours per week. Focused on administrative, membership & operational support at the busy health & wellness club. Free family membership!

As Business Coordinator , you'll support the managerial and professional staff with a variety of office functions that include, but are not limited to data entry, typing, office supply management, member billing, new employee onboarding, member relations problem solving, and periodic front desk assistance.

Monday-Friday Schedule, 6 hours per day.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsibilities include office supply inventory/ordering, internal record keeping, general mailings, staff business cards/nametag ordering, daily mail distribution, and coordinating promotional material distribution.

  • Maintains updates/printing of membership forms, cards, new member packets, ensuring an adequate supply is available at all times.

  • Performs word processing tasks and creates/updates spreadsheets. Develops PowerPoint presentations as requested.

  • Coordinates schedule for weekly/monthly meetings, luncheons and celebrations. Manages conference center reservations.

  • Maintains uniform inventory and coordinates distribution process.

  • Provides administrative and staffing support for internal programs, membership drives and special events.

  • Performs customer service, member relations management, and front desk duties.

  • Other duties as needed/assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in a business related field and 2+ years of related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong computer and typing skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including at minimum Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including spelling, punctuation, and grammar.

  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.

  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of individuals both within HealthFitness and the client organization.

  • CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute required within 60 days of hire & will train onsite.

Compensation: $23-25/hour. Pay is dependent on qualifications and experience.
