Emerson HR Manager in Liege, Belgium
As the HR Manager you will provide flexible, adaptable, and customer-focused HR services that will contribute to the business strategy and drive the change management agenda, whilst supporting broader HR projects and business transformation initiatives.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be
Build and implement HR objectives and practices to attract, retain and empower appropriately skilled and committed employees.
Advise management on the application of local employment law and in respect of employee relations issues.
Support the development of the annual Communications plan as well as to guide and direct its implementation within the organization in support of both business and employee relations.
Guide and support Talent Management and Organizational Review processes, such that the quality information is supplied in a timely and complete manner.
Follow up on, and implement as appropriate, individual development and succession plans agreed during Organization reviews.
Support the performance management processes within the organization
Follow-up and report on Employee Opinion Survey to improve employee engagement.
Roll-out of Inclusion and Belonging programs
Implement standard processes regarding HR related topics from other offices/locations of Emerson
Work Closely with the General Manager to provide HR expertise and advice to sustain business strategy and change programs
Coordinate remuneration reviews and bonus processes and leading remuneration approval processes globally
Act as a sparring partner towards the Safety Committee
Day-to-day activity
Collaborate and work closely with the Management Team and Steering Committee
Be responsible for internal and external communication in the field of HR Management
Guidance in change processes in which you act as the change agent
Lead training and development plans according to training needs analysis and promote corporate trainings and workshop
Handle monthly payroll with the external provider (Partena)
Find opportunities for process improvement related to HR
Ensure HR governance and good compliance standards
Collaborate with Legal, Finance, HSE and other business functions to ensure connectivity
Lead recruitment activities, from assessing needs to finalizing contracts and organizing induction with the Hiring Manager
Who You Are:
You will act as business partner to the AEV Management Team. As HR Manager you work together with the other Emerson locations in the Benelux on HR practices, policies relating to employment, culture ethics, legal compliance, immigration, employee relations and compensation and benefits
For This Role, You Will Need
7+ years of Human Resources Management experience in generalist position
Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in Human Resources or any related field (Law, Social Sciences, Psychology)
Experience in a Matrix organization
“Hands-on” HR skills
Proven communicator (both written and verbal)
Fluent in French and English
Good knowledge of Belgium Labor law
Have a valid work permit for Belgium
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
