Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week,
Work Days: M -- F; 7:00am -- 3:30pm
Wage: $19.25/hour

Foster Logistics is looking to hire a full-time Inventory Control Specialist! This position will be responsible for the day-to-day verification of inventory accuracy to ensure inventory is accurately received, stored, and shipped. Job Duties & Responsibilities: • Demonstrates our Company Core Values. • Teams and works closely & cohesively with management on inventory related projects. • Monitors inventory and identifies inconsistencies or discrepancies. • Performs regular physical inventory audits and cycle counts. • Assists with inventory control procedures and best practices. • Maintains accurate and up-to-date inventory records and documentation. • Identifies any potential inventory discrepancies, damage, etc. and reports to management. In addition, records and reports the damage in writing, also updating the WMS system to reflect this. • Responsibility of managing all damaged product, including the documentation and reporting requirements involved. • Responsibility for inbound and outbound order verifications process. • Responsible for customer required processes and projects ensuring customer guidelines and specifications are followed, the processes and projects monitored, and reporting requirements/documentation take place. • Ensures compliance with safety and legal standards in storage and handling of inventory. • General housekeeping to ensure safety and compliance with OSHA regulations. • Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor. Required Experience and Education: • High School Diploma or Equivalent. • Minimum two years of experience in inventory control or similar role. • Minimum two years of forklift experience. • Prior WMS experience. • Must be able to read, understand, and follow all procedures relating to shipping and receiving forms. • Must possess good communication skills. • Must be team oriented. • Must have a good knowledge of arithmetic functions: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. • Must be familiar with Outlook or similar email system and be able to compose an email following proper etiquette. • Must have prior experience with Excel and be able to promptly and accurately deliver spreadsheet reports as requested by management.
