Ervin Cable Field Dispatcher in Lindon, Utah
At Ervin Cable Construction, as a Dispatcher, you’ll manage technician schedules, assign tasks, and coordinate communication between customers, technicians, and other departments. You’ll track work status, update records, and ensure timely completion of service requests.
What you’ll do as a Dispatcher:
Manage and prioritize technician schedules, tasks and quotas to efficiently meet customer needs
Dispatch orders, messages, and special instructions to technicians and other departments
Track work status, provide updates, and escalate issues as necessary
Create, manage, and close tickets while updating logs as needed
Handle and process data from multiple sources
Create maps, upload permits, and handle related documentation
Keep records of service calls and work orders
Monitor and respond to customer and technician communications to resolve scheduling or service conflicts
What you’ll need:
To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
At least one year of previous dispatch experience is preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Basic computer skills is preferred
Physical abilities & exposures
Routinely: use keyboard & mouse
Occasionally: climb stairs, stand, walk and operate vehicle
