Science Systems and Applications, Inc. Administrative Analyst in Linthicum Heights, Maryland
Advanced Mission Partners a wholly owned subsidiary of Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI) seeks an Administrative Analyst to support their manufacturing facility located in Linthicum, MD.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide administrative and clerical support within the facility. This will include but is not limited to: being available on-site during the work day to assist in planning, coordination, and execution of projects and initiatives; assisting in the assembly and editing of documents; coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items; managing the executive calendar and appointments; procurement of supplies; facilitating phone, email, and network access; facilitation of office moves; space management; and conference room scheduling. Other duties may be assigned.
This position is on-site at our Manufacturing Facility located in Linthicum, MD and is not eligible for telework.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) and a minimum of 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
Skilled at using the MS Office suite of products, particularly MS Excel
Must be friendly and customer service oriented
Must have the ability to successfully multi-task in a very dynamic office environment
Adept at learning to use new web-based applications
Strong ability to read, interpret, and communicate policy, procedures, and instruction manuals
Effective verbal communications with groups of employees as well as management
Ability to write coherent non-technical reports and correspondence
Ability to follows instructions; respond to management direction; accept personal responsibility for actions, performance, and results; keep
commitments; and complete tasks on time or notify appropriate person with an alternate plan
Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities; exhibit objectivity and openness to others' views; give and welcome feedback; contribute
to building a positive team spirit; support everyone's efforts to succeed
Attendance/punctuality: candidate is required to consistently be at work in person and on time; ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent; and arrive at meetings on time.
Desired Skills and Qualities:
Certification in administrative analysis is a plus

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to touch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear and occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
