Navistar, Inc. Configuration Manager in Lisle, Illinois
Position Overview
Navistar is looking to add a Configuration Manager to their team!
The Configuration Manager will manage the development and implementation process of the company's products and services from a Configuration Management viewpoint and be part of a cross-functional team of experts working on related projects by guiding the projects in a coordinated way to deliver customer value.
Responsibilities
Identify and integrate all product features into an Availability Index RPO, LPO, Prototypes
Attend Product Management and Program team meetings to provide configuration input
Analyze Availability Index and recommend potential changes
Implement all product change activity as dictated in line with customer / application needs
Provide feedback and support to the sales organization, internal and external
Support program teams in developing the scope of programs and other configuration needs as requested
Provide assistance to insure complete and accurate order coding
Analyze build data and SQ data to provide insight into configuration links and market trends
Assist Product Manager in educating all personnel who use and reference published material regarding our vehicle offerings (i.e. Data Books, Sales Data, Body Builder Materials, etc.)
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
At least 5 years of technical project/program management experience
OR
Master’s degree
At least 3 years of technical project/program management experience
OR
- At least 7 years of technical project/program management experience
Additional Requirements
- Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
