Navistar, Inc. Configuration Manager in Lisle, Illinois

Position Overview

Navistar is looking to add a Configuration Manager to their team!

The Configuration Manager will manage the development and implementation process of the company's products and services from a Configuration Management viewpoint and be part of a cross-functional team of experts working on related projects by guiding the projects in a coordinated way to deliver customer value.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and integrate all product features into an Availability Index RPO, LPO, Prototypes

  • Attend Product Management and Program team meetings to provide configuration input

  • Analyze Availability Index and recommend potential changes

  • Implement all product change activity as dictated in line with customer / application needs

  • Provide feedback and support to the sales organization, internal and external

  • Support program teams in developing the scope of programs and other configuration needs as requested

  • Provide assistance to insure complete and accurate order coding

  • Analyze build data and SQ data to provide insight into configuration links and market trends

  • Assist Product Manager in educating all personnel who use and reference published material regarding our vehicle offerings (i.e. Data Books, Sales Data, Body Builder Materials, etc.)

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • At least 5 years of technical project/program management experience

OR

  • Master’s degree

  • At least 3 years of technical project/program management experience

OR

  • At least 7 years of technical project/program management experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.   • Power BI

  • TOPS Knowledge
