Pulaski County Special School District Waste Water Technician in Little Rock, Arkansas
LOCATION: Plant Planning
QUALIFICATIONS:
Class II Waste Water Treatment License
High School Diploma/GED
Valid Arkansas driver's license
REPORTS TO: Director of Plant Planning
JOB GOAL: To help operate and maintain the waste water treatment plants in an excellent condition so that full compliance with Federal and State regulations will be achieved.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES :
Maintenance, repair, and operation of the waste water treatment plants.
Collect samples and deliver to testing laboratory as needed to comply with Federal and State regulations.
Inspect waste water treatment plants on a regular schedule maintain proper operation.
Clean and maintain the grounds of all treatment plants.
Perform some heavy lifting.
Perform work at varying heights on a ladder.
Perform work in extreme weather conditions.
Respond to after hour emergencies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT :
Salary Range: Range 11 - Support Staff Hourly Salary Schedule ($15.84/hr. - $29.03/hr. depending on relevant experience)
Length of Contract:: 244 contract days
FLSA Status: Non - Exempt
Personnel Status: Classified

EVALUATION :
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Staff Personnel.
