SENIOR DATA CENTER NETWORK SOLUTION ARCHITECT

The Select Group is looking to bring on a Sr. Data Center Network Architect to join one of our top clients in the Communications space. This person will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise and data center network architectures. The role involves driving network migrations, ensuring security and compliance, and developing automation strategies. The ideal candidate will be experienced in Cisco ACI, BGP-based applications, and multi-cloud networking solutions. This is a remote opportunity and will be expected to travel on an as-needed basis. SENIOR DATA CENTER NETWORK SOLUTION ARCHITECT REQUIREMENTS:

10+ years of experience in enterprise network architecture and solution engineering Expertise in Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) Strong knowledge of BGP-based data center applications, MPLS traffic engineering, and SDN integration Experience with LAN/WAN, VLANs, VXLAN, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, QoS, and IPv4/IPv6 Firewall expertise (Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto, Fortinet) Hands-on experience with OpenStack networking and cloud interconnects Proficiency in network automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform) Extensive experience developing, reviewing, and executing Method of Procedures (MOPs) Experience with multi-cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and GCP

SENIOR DATA CENTER NETWORK SOLUTION ARCHITECT NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

Multi-vendor networking experience (Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, F5) Exposure to wireless networking (Wi-Fi 6/6E, Cisco Meraki, Aruba) Kubernetes networking experience Certifications: CCNP, CCIE, JNCIE, PCNSE, AWS Advanced Networking

SENIOR DATA CENTER NETWORK SOLUTION ARCHITECT RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and optimize enterprise data center and cloud network architectures Lead data center and application migration projects Develop and enforce network security best practices, including Zero Trust principles Automate network operations using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Oversee change management processes and MOP execution Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless network integrations Ensure compliance with industry security frameworks and regulatory requirements Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and documentation standardization
