Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Senior Accountant within the Energy/Natural Resources industry in LITTLETON, Colorado, 80127-3752, United States. The role involves managing various aspects of our financial procedures, including reporting and budgeting operations. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Oracle PBCS and a solid understanding of industry-specific financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily operations, including month and year-end processes, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, and treasury.

• Implement and monitor the execution of Oracle PBCS and other financial systems.

• Coordinate audit activities and manage the implementation of audit recommendations.

• Carry out the budgeting processes and forecasting activities.

• Collaborate with the financial team and stakeholders for financial planning, decision-making, and cost analysis.

• Prepare monthly, quarter and annual close timely and accurately.

• Develop strategies for financial performance monitoring and drive initiatives.

• Perform account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and journal entries using Microsoft Excel.

• Ensure the month-end close process is completed efficiently. Requirements • Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant in the Energy/Natural Resources industry

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Solid understanding of General Ledger management and Journal Entries

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures

• Experience with Oracle accounting software

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required

• Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of integrity and professional ethics.
