Alta Material Handling is a leading distributor committed to providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality experiences to our valued clients. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

 

The Finance and Insurance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financing for our customers. This role involves working closely with customers, sales teams, and financial institutions to secure financing and ensure a smooth and transparent transaction process.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Customer Interaction:

  •   Explain and recommend financing options, loan terms, and insurance products to customers.
  • Ensure customers understand their financial obligations and the terms of their agreements.

     

Financial Services:

  • Collaborate with banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions to secure financing for customers.
  • Evaluate credit reports, submit financing applications, and negotiate terms to obtain the best possible financing options.
  • Review all financing and leasing paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

Sales Support:

  • Work closely with the sales team to coordinate the delivery of equipment and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in structuring deals to meet the needs of both the customer and the dealership.

     

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all state and federal regulations related to commercial financing.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with regulatory requirements and dealership policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions.

     

Training and Development:

  • Provide training and support to the sales team on financing.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and changes in regulations to continuously improve the financing process.

     

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as an Finance Manager or similar role in the B to B space.
  • Strong understanding of financing and lending processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and dealership management systems.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel 25%-30%
