Info Services, LLC has one opening for the position of Software Architect (Ref# SA612PM) to work in Livonia, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: Responsible for solution / technical architecture in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of high availability and scalable enterprise applications. Research and analyze emerging technologies, platforms, tools, and solutions architecture. Map new and existing business opportunities to potential big data, intelligence, and analytics solutions. Attend stakeholder meetings to understand and clarify requirements. Collaborate with a team of software engineers and architects to develop client data-related solutions, including architecture, design, and development. Produce design and architecture documents and implement product features. Lead and develop highly scalable, extensible, and resilient cloud big data solutions that enable the collection, storage, modeling, and analysis of large structured/unstructured datasets. Lead effort to build an actionable insights platform by performing exploratory and quantitative analytics, data mining, and discovery. Lead effort on real-time end-to-end data processing pipeline, persistence, storage, and APIs. Design enhancements, updates, and programming changes for systems software. Build internet scale platforms, handle petabytes scale data, operationalize clusters in a cloud environment. Provide recommendations, technical support, and leadership for the selection and incorporation of cloud-based big data warehouse and data lake solutions and business applications. Select appropriate AWS services to design and deploy applications based on the business requirements. Participate in the architecture review board, preparing and presenting architectural options to management. Use of ETL, Hadoop, Apache Spark, Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, Kafka, Java, Spring Boot, Spring REST, Hibernate, Python, TypeScript, Maven, Spark, Zookeeper, Druid, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), Jenkins, GitLab, and AWS services. Travel and/or relocation required.
REQUIREMENTS: Position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Solution Architect, IT Consultant, Systems Analyst, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor's degree in any field of study plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. A combination of foreign post-secondary education determined to be equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor's degree is acceptable. Position requires 2 years of experience with technical architecture, Java, and Spring. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
