Oracle Specialist EPM Account Executive in LONDON, United Kingdom

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  2. Identify potential customers within the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) space through various channels, including networking, cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and attending industry events.

  3. Qualify leads to determine their potential and prioritize them accordingly, focusing on organizations that can benefit from EPM solutions.

  4. Product Knowledge:

  5. Maintain a deep understanding of the EPM SaaS product offerings, including Financial Planning and Analysis, Consolidation and Close, Reporting, and Analytics.

  6. Stay updated on industry trends and product updates, particularly within the Oracle ecosystem, to effectively address customer needs.

  7. Solution Selling:

  8. Understand customer problems and business challenges related to performance management, financial planning, and analytics.

  9. Present tailored EPM solutions that demonstrate how the products can solve specific problems and make valuable contributions to the customer's business.

  10. Sales Presentations and Demos:

  11. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits our EPM solutions.

  12. Use storytelling and real-life examples to illustrate the impact and efficiency of the product, particularly in financial planning and performance management.

  13. Negotiation and Closing:

  14. Prepare and present proposals and quotes to potential customers, emphasizing the value of EPM solutions.

  15. Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and conditions to close deals effectively.

  16. Overcome objections and address any concerns to facilitate the sales process.

  17. Account Management:

  18. Lead and nurture customer accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention, focusing on their EPM needs.

  19. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand the customer's use of the EPM solutions.

  20. Collaboration:

  21. Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, customer support, and implementation teams, to ensure a flawless customer experience.

  22. Provide feedback to the product team based on customer interactions to help improve the EPM product offering

Responsibilities

  • 5 years of relevant FP&A experience, with an understanding of Planning & Budgeting, Financial Consolidations, Account Reconciliation, and Financial Reporting.

  • Understanding of GAAP and accounting functions, including experience with ERP applications.

  • Previous EPM/CPM application experience: NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB), Oracle EPM, Anaplan, Adaptive, Hyperion, Planful, etc.

  • Previous BI application experience in one or more of the following is a plus: NetSuite Analytic Warehouse (NSAW), Oracle Analytics, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, etc.

  • Strong experience in new business acquisition.

  • Strategic thinking: Strong analytical skills, complex sales cycle, and closing skills.

  • Goal-oriented: Willingness to work towards achieving goals in a changing and challenging environment.

  • Phenomenal teammate: Team-oriented with an entrepreneurial mentality.

  • Travel will be required.

  • Accountancy qualification and/or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
