Description

At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and self-driven people. The Pay Equity Analytics & Compliance Team, part of Global Talent Management & Compensation organisation within Amazon, is responsible for equal pay analysis, pay equity analytics, and statutory pay equity reporting obligations across Amazon. We define Amazon's global strategy for pay equity analysis with a consistent, best in class approach to the inspection of annual and quarterly compensation decisions; create the annual publication of Amazon's adjusted pay gap analysis; and provide on-demand analyses to support employment legal counsel activities such as government audits and employment litigation matters. Additionally, the Compliance Service Program team manages Amazon's global statutory pay equity reporting related obligations, providing end-to-end project management that includes consultative support to business stakeholders and HR partners; risk assessment and when needed, risk remediation; data analysis and submission; and proactive monitoring of pending pay equity legislation that may impact Amazon.

As a member of Amazon’s Pay Equity Analytics & Compliance Team, the Senior Risk and Compliance Manager, will be an integral team member working with global HR policy, process, and system owners to manage complex pay equity and government reporting requirements. This includes researching legal and regulatory obligations with local labour and employment attorneys, working with project teams to translate legal and regulatory obligations into system or process requirements, monitoring the effectiveness of controls designed to meet obligations on a regular and ongoing basis, and developing and leading remediation plans to mitigate risk.

These projects may be driven by new legal and regulatory requirements such as EU Pay Transparency Directive, geographies, types of business, solution implementations, or emerging risk issues, among other things.
