Position Description:

Experience with Electromagnetism theory, applications, simulations and testing

Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) theory/applications, signal analysis, and antenna co-site analysis

Experience with Electromagnetic Environmental Effects requirements development

Experience with Electromagnetic (EM) risk mitigation techniques including Grounding and Bonding, shielding and harness separation

Experience with development of component, sub-system and system (e.g. vehicle level) test plans, execution of tests and development of test reports.

Skilled in laboratory measurements using vector network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscopes, power meter, power supply and antenna testbed as well as high frequency probes

Plan, organize, and maintain records of progression to ensure successful completion of projects on schedule and within budget

Develop plans and estimates for current and future projects

Position Requirements:

University Degree in a relevant engineering discipline

Minimum 3-5 years related experience

Excellent communication, organization and prioritization skills

Demonstrated strength in MS Office applications and other engineering software

Ability to work well in a team environment

Ability to travel (5% Cdn) and (5% US & Int'l) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport.

Must be able to meet Anthropometrical Size Restrictions for confined space

Preferred Requirements:

Experience with typical military standards such as MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-461/464, and their commercial equivalents

Experience with electrical/electronic system on military vehicles, off-road vehicles, and/or typical automotive platforms

Experience with FEKO (or similar) simulation application

Certified TEMPEST Professional (CTP) or CTP in training

Military experience with aforementioned technologies
