Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Long Beach, California
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Long Beach, California. The role is primarily centered around maintaining and processing customer credit applications, as well as effectively managing customer credit accounts in the telecom industry.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of customer credit
• Manage and monitor customer credit accounts
• Take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments when necessary
• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in accounts receivable
• Handle billing duties and cash applications effectively
• Implement cash collections and commercial collections as needed
• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP in performing daily tasks
• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management.
• Demonstrable experience in Account Reconciliation.
• Skilled in managing Billing operations.
• Experience in Cash Applications and Cash Collections.
• Knowledge of Commercial Collections.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Oracle financial software.
• Experience with QuickBooks accounting software.
• Knowledge of SAP financial software.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• Relevant professional certifications would be an advantage.
